Siemens Caring Hands comprises of three types of social developmental activities - Partnerships, Disaster Relief and Volunteering. It encompasses the wide range of community projects planned and implemented by employees on their own initiative. In addition, the Caring Hands initiative also includes the technical, professional and financial assistance that Siemens as a company provides to selected aid organizations around the world.

Over the years, Siemens India has actively supported various social causes, be it rehabilitation programmes during natural calamities like the Tsunami Rehabilitation programme in Tamil Nadu or the floods in Mumbai; activities in support of Aids patients or the differently abled; or institutions like the St. Catherine’s Home.
After mobilizing immediate relief for the Bhuj earthquake victims, Siemens supported SOS Village at Bhuj jointly with German Business Community for a long-term project. more
By offering support to a batch of 115 orphan children – for their residential, educational and recreational activities – it is our attempt to provide a normal childhood to the vulnerable children. more
After the December 26, 2004 Tsunami disaster, Siemens Ltd provided immediate relief
to the survivors, and followed up with a long-term rehabilitation project in the affected regions. more
