From an Engineering College established in 1986, to being instituted as an University in 2006, to transforming into a Centre for Industrial Collaboration and Soft Skill Development, Karunya University has consistently evolved as a hub for knowledge sharing and skill enhancement in the Siemens training network.
Karunya University houses 11 hostels in the campus that provide excellent residing facilities to over 5373 students including a comprehensive library. Where students can choose from over 60,000 volumes, 275 international journals and gain online access to several national and international journals through Science Direct, IEEE Journals.
It is also among the few universities with a distinction of having a teaching faculty of 360 members, 220 supporting staff of which 15% already possess a doctorate degree. Other facilities available in the campus includes:

Karunya University is now also SIEMENS Authorized training Centre. ”Karunya Siemens Center of Excellence for Automation and Drives” Conducts training programs on PLCs and Drives.
